Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 30, 2026

Henschel Neurology ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information on this informational website (https://henschelneurology.com).

1. Scope of Data We Collect

Most of this website is a general informational resource and does not contain contact forms, scheduling widgets, or login portals. Two limited exceptions exist: (1) a secure, single-use insurance card upload portal, accessible only via a unique link provided directly by our staff, which allows a patient to submit a photo of their insurance card ahead of a scheduled visit; and (2) our SMS text messaging program, described in Section 2 below. Outside of these two features, we do not collect, store, or process Protected Health Information (PHI) or personal details through this website. Insurance card images submitted through the secure upload portal are transmitted for the sole purpose of preparing for a patient's visit and are not used for any other purpose.

2. SMS/Text Messaging Program

With your verbal consent, provided when you call our office to schedule or confirm an appointment, we may send you text messages related to your care, such as appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, and a secure link to upload a photo of your insurance card. Message frequency varies based on your appointment activity. Message and data rates may apply. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. To stop receiving messages, reply STOP at any time. For help, reply HELP or call our office directly at the phone number listed on our homepage. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

3. Log Files and Technical Data

Like most websites, our hosting provider may collect standard, non-identifying technical logs when you visit the site. This may include your IP address, browser type, referring pages, operating system, and the date/time of your visit. This data is used solely for website security, performance monitoring, and server maintenance.

4. No Intrusive Trackers or Cookies

We do not use advertising pixels, session replay scripts, or tracking cookies to monitor your browsing behavior. If we employ basic analytics in the future, they will be privacy-safe, non-identifying, and cookieless. Clicks on our telephone links may be recorded locally in a non-identifying manner to evaluate website performance.

5. External Links

Our website contains links to external sites, such as the official Baptist Health South Florida physician directory and Google Maps. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any site you visit.

6. Contacting the Practice

To communicate with us regarding clinical care, please call the practice directly at the phone number listed on our homepage. Do not attempt to transmit health records or personal information through public internet networks or links associated with this site, other than through the secure upload portal described above.
